Very close to Carcassonne, in the Aude, our charming guesthouse “au Fil de l’eau” is situated near the river in Montolieu, the famous bookvillage.

This charming cottage built in the 16th century, around the old vaulted entrance to the village, will immerse you in a unique setting.

Ideal for 4 up to 6 people maximum.

Relax in our hammock at the edge of the river or maybe you prefer to dive into a book well installed in our rocking chair?

From our terrace and while you are preparing your barbecue, you can watch your children playing in the garden and near the river.

In our garden, you will find fresh mint, basil, parsley, chives and cherry tomatoes.

And don’t forget to taste our neighbour’s delicious honney! Other local producers will be happy to make you discover their products. Adrien Mould, wine merchant, will give you valuable advice on his wines. Organic vegetables and delicious apples and juice, you will find them at “Les Ares Verts“.
